Hurm.  I notice 8 in your party..how does megamud react to that?  How do you feel about it in terms of full party spells..It seems like it make them quiet powerful.

It's pretty nice. Megamud will spam invites to anyone who is checked to invite on sight whenver the party is larger than 6, but works properly most of the time otherwise.

Low lvl priestly spells are super effective in large parties. Major healing rain ftw. Bards are great too, but we don't have any : )

major healing rain, ahem..rain for that matter were already fantastic spells.  Rain, is greatly underrated, its fantastic. 

My question was more concerning if those pary area spells were a little too powerful in large groups.  But I suppose its really not that big of an issue, you really can't make exp in a party of 8.

The only boss i ever scripted like that was weapon master, cloaked figure, hydra heads. can hink of any others...aed would still kill a party of 8 eventually though...hell hydra heads tended to kill me once every couple days.

Actually mega doesnt work so well with more than 6 people. It will not 'see' them, as in like the healer will not heal them per the party settings if they are past the normal 6. The best way to fix that is to have all the chars in yer big party have commands on each other, and have mega do a '@heal' when you need heals. (The request heals thing under party). Mega will also not party bless anyone past the first 6 either. (granted, it doesnt always party bless right anyways, but someone past 6 will never get blessed).

Its fine to do a party bigger than 6 if most or all are at keys, but if the majority of yer people are offkb, I wouldnt do it.

You can shift your heal spells to party rains for priestly types in parties of more than six. This provides healing to all the characters beyond the 6th in the list. Also, you can counter the effects a bit by placing self sufficient types of classes in the slots beyond #6. In addition, you can determine your order of attack based directly on the listing of your party. When grouped, the first in the list will swing first in the round, and onward down the list.
