What if there was a portal that allowed you to go from your current realm to another to fight in an ultimate PVP battle-arena....?

I dont have any problem with it, other than it taking up vitoc's time.
The only problem that I could see is edited realms however that wouldn't really stop something like this from working it would just effect how the data is sent back and forth. Other then that I think its a good idea though I've heard it a few times over the years from different people.
One way to do something would be to have a server that is run by the GreaterMUD coders, and have it be a 'neutral zone' type of thing, like the Arena Portals are now... and when you enter the portal on your MUD realm, it sends everyone to that neutral server, so you cant actually interfere with another realm, you're just fighting with your character against characters from another BBS.
Of course you wouldnt be able to drop/pickup items cuz I can see that getting exploited or causing bugs.
