Here is a class Mod I made for mmud, you can change it or use it if you like.
Class: Bishop
They get one priest and one mage spell each level, but a weaker version of both. I took away their bash abillity. The downfall is that they are about 4 levels behind any pure caster, and 250% exp chart. But it's nice having a ton of spells. Also every couple levels there are some spells that are a combination of both mage and priest, they are indicated with "/".
Here is the mmud spell chart, just to give you an idea.
Level 1
minor heal
mmis
Level 2
harm
blur
Level 3

costs lots of mana, and I took away the area effect on fireball.
Notice that the normal fireball is a level 15 mage spell.
These are all the spells I made so far. Let me know if you want any of it.

Where the class is probably rather enjoyable to play it doesn't seem to fill a niche in greatermud. I'm working on a spellcasting system that makes casters far more customizable than they are in majormud. See Spell Circles (http://greatermud.com/forums/index.php?topic=582.0). My hope is that this system will be able to create hybrid form magic users in a fair manner.
On a side note, where most of those spells are not unique to majormud I'm guessing many of them are copies(at least in messages) from majormud's databases. And if that holds true, I would be unable to use them.
Yeah that is a much better idea... maybe I should shut the hell up and read the forums before posting ;>

Bishops as a class name should really be saved for a prestige class for priests.
