no retal in PVP can't attack back

You're almost dead.  One more hang penalty is all it will take. We all know it.
Also.
You say you can't attack back, but you didn't even try....
You don't get *'s on someones name, until you attack them back, duh.  Maybe if you didn't just backstab people and run off to safe rooms you'd know that.

Retal doesn't seem to show up with instant spells (eg entangle).

You can still retaliate without clouding.

I tested it with Sky outside bank a while ago.

if I remember correctly you said you could not attack back without eps and that is what we were testing.....or I thought...

First time I couldn't, but we couldn't replicate it. We suspected it might have been party related but who knows.

But Will is right, you haven't even tried attacking back - enter again and test it
