I've seen this before.  If the person "just barely" dies and someone heals them in the same round to get them above death, this can happen but the timing has to be perfect.


Torque

Perfect is a more fun way to put it, but if you drop, then get a message you are dead, and then hang up, you can be healed upon entrance before a timer goes off in which it will finally recognize you are dead, and even then it can be almost a full round after you relog. Was that a run-on? Good! People can easily be saved this way; it is somewhat the timing, but it is more just being above absolute death but below xxxx, where x = point at which mud thinks you should be dying.
