Hi friends! I got so sick of the people addicted to rerolling, it's like typing reroll is shooting up and we live in a GreaterMethadone Clinic. These are the Realm settings I would enforce on the PVP Realm.

Experience and Evil kept on reroll: Zero
Max Lives: Three
Lives per level: Three
Unique ID enforced: Yes  (Torque must be Torque, HULK must be HULK. Choose wisely)
PvP level difference: 15
Level Stack allowed: 1 (200%)
Playing Sysop: No experience, must stay in 1/10 Lucky Strike Casino (Now a safe room) , NOT Bank
Playing Mudop(s): No entry
Death HP: -25
Item Drop %: All +10
Hang pens: 10% HP - All hang ups (excludes enter/exits/training)

All other information is stock

I'm curious where you see a difference.  The only reason I'm even in the bank is to hand out black star keys since the cultists don't seem to be regenning.  If it wasn't for that, I'd be in a room none of you could get to anyhow like I was all of last push.

If it doesn't matter, then why not? The PVP Realm history is rich with wrong doings from mudops; this would be a simple gesture to dispell dumb questions that may arise.

mr sinister

wow torque every time you post you want to change the entire dynamic. look i died three times just trying to get to markus with all the stacked rooms on the way and that is no joke.  ok but how about some of this. PVP kills count for 2 lives? if you roll someone in PVP you get EXP. and they get no keep. these are cut throat rules my friend. I think we are talking about a completely different realm. how about 200 cps to start with?

Torque

Those are fun ideas, but I was talking about a different Realm than the current one. I shoulda prefaced that!

The premise of 'lives' only punishes those who hand play a lot, take risks and pvp while the 24/7 scripters who never die are all peachy.

Limiting lives is catering to the wrong type of player.

Torque

Let's break up your points into complete thoughts:

"The premise of 'lives' only punishes those who hand play a lot, take risks and pvp"
This means that people who play by hand AND take risks AND pvp die a lot. Of course people who do that are going to die, it's a PVP Realm, it's most of the fun

"while the 24/7 scripters who never die are all peachy."
This means so many things, the most glaring meaning is that you are terrible at taking down scripts. This also means that in your opinion people who script 24/7 rarely die because they aren't taking risks... Let me ask you, have you reviewed your method of operation? Apparently these are the winners, and you're in the losers group. Perhaps you should pull a John Edwards and figure out how to mimic their success. That is, IF you do not not claim to be in this group, I only determined that by your 3rd person reference.

"Limiting lives is catering to the wrong type of player."
I didn't know there were right players and wrong players, but based on the aforementioned details of your views of the world, it appears you're the wrong type of player. I would go so far as to say you'd even like the idea of taking plate classes out in order to achieve a greater 'balance' with the PVP Realms.

You have point of views, but none of them are related to any substance; to me they seem very subjective, perhaps you can clear some of it up? So far I've heard no one complain about Unique ID? and that makes me feel pr good. Thanks for the input!

Vile

Good points. Perhaps go back to flying pretend helicopters.

I love when I'm right, I also love when people hate me when I'm right. Confirmation accepted!

No the PvP Realm history is rich with *rumors* of wrong doings from mudops, none of which were ever proven.  Again what does all of that have to do with what room I stand in?  If you want me moved then it makes more sense to put me some place where I do not see players and players do not see me.

I'm not sure.  We've got several areas where regen just stopped.  I'm thinking part of it may be people stacking up mobs in out of the way spaces until the area max is reached.

The monsters don't stop following you. It's not hard to just run into every lair, then go stand where you want to stash them and wait for them. Then close the door and boom, everyone thinks spawn stopped.

Stalkerr

Oh ok..so they are just following into the house.

I'm not going to let you get away with making a blanket statement about how nothing wrong has ever happened on gmud pvp since that would be unfair to the many people that have been wronged. I will end your campaign trail without much of a fight: if others want to know about this topic, simply search this website and you'll find all about what I'm referring to.

Although I never specified 'you' in where the sysops would be placed, I will use that for ease of reading, and not attributing anything really to you at all. You being placed in the lucky strike casino gives players the ability to check on where you are if you're in the Realm while depriving the highly unlikely scenario that you monitor bank and pass this intel along (the bank is heavy traffic). It also gives players a specific and expected room to come and converse / do business / whatever else is needed with you.  You keep making the point that you should be out of sight, out of mind, and I keep making the point that you should not be out of sight. I hope that clears it up.
